Useful Information

• The apartment has combined heating and air conditioning in the lounge and both bedrooms.
• There are 3 electric shutters in lounge, the shutters in the hall and bedrooms are manual operation.
• There are heated towel rails in both bathrooms, they are not on timers so please remember to switch them off after use.
• There are two supermarkets around the corner from the apartment – they close between about 12.30pm and 3pm but stay open until about 8pm in the evening. Turn right out of apartments, right at the end of the road and then right again at the next junction. Take left hand fork in road.
• Just around the corner from the supermarket there is a fabulous patisserie / café.
• The majority of shops and supermarkets don’t open on Sundays.
• You will see a couple of bus stops near the apartment – the No. 8 bus runs all day (every 15 mins until about 9pm) shuttling between the Croisette and Palm Beach, it cost only 1 Euro (€) per person.
• The train station is off Rue des Serbes (near Gray d’Albion Hotel) – there is a Cannes street map in the apartment. The train service to Nice, Monaco etc is very regular and inexpensive.
• The apartment is in the area of Cannes known as Palm Beach. The opposite end of the Croisette is the old town, Le Suquet which is full of great restaurants and bars.
• The main shopping street in Cannes is Rue d’Antibes which runs parallel behind the Croisette and has a great range of shops.
